Clockwise from the blue mug: milk chocolate cake, Exmoor boiled fruit cake, cheesejacks, lemon cake, Victoria sponge, strawberry tarts, raspberry and white chocolate blondies and in the middle orange and lavender biscuits.
I did a lot of the laying out of tables, chairs etc the night before. Our garden is up 13 stairs from the house and through some outbuildings, so with just little me doing it all on my own it took some time. The company was really great though and they all helped me take everything back down to the kitchen afterwards.
I'm thinking of getting a water butt in the garden, having humped watering cans up and down for years and years. I can fill it at the stream in the field but that's nearly as far away.
